Marketing Team

Invest Northern Ireland has announced our plans to create 40 new jobs over the next three years, doubling our Northern Ireland workforce.

To mark the announcement, we welcomed Anne Beggs, Chief Commercial Officer at Invest NI, to our headquarters on Linenhall Street in Belfast, where she met our Chief Financial Officer, Ruth Hengari.

The expansion will strengthen our product development and engineering teams as we meet growing demand across Defence and National Security.

Building the team behind Collective

At the centre of our work is Collective, our AI operating system. It connects organisational knowledge, context, workflows and human expertise, helping customers build, deploy and govern AI within their operations.

For the organisations we work with, AI needs to function in demanding environments. Security, assurance and operational control are essential, whether a system is deployed in the cloud, at the edge or within an air-gapped environment.

Collective provides that foundation. Alongside it, our Solutions Engineering team works with customers to understand their operational challenges, develop applications and integrate them into existing systems and workflows.

Growing our team will help us develop the platform and deliver applications that enable organisations to learn, adapt and act faster.

Growing from our Belfast roots

Founded in Belfast, we’re expanding internationally while keeping our intellectual property and engineering leadership rooted in Northern Ireland.

Ruth said:

“This investment marks the next stage of that story, as we expand internationally and meet growing demand across Defence and National Security.”

The new roles will cover software engineering, AI and machine learning, data engineering, cloud engineering, product management, and design and delivery consulting.

They will carry an average salary of £78,500, with hybrid working offering opportunities across Northern Ireland.

Join our team

Our engineers, designers, researchers, product and delivery teams work closely together to solve complex problems. Joining Whitespace means helping build secure, deployable AI for customers operating under real constraints, with room to contribute ideas and take ownership of your work.

Recruitment will take place over the next three years. Visit our Careers page, under the Company tab, to learn about working at Whitespace and explore our latest vacancies.
